Welcome to the Lead Forensics API site.

With the API you can now stream your Lead Forensics data and insight into your company's workflows for easy access, anytime. Build powerful and effective bespoke reporting suites and integrations to gain even greater value from your Lead Forensics data.

Within this site you will find comprehensive guides and documentation to help you get started working with the API as quickly as possible. Keep reading for more information about the API and how to use it but if you want to jump right in then all of the the available endpoints are listed on our Reference page.

What is the API?

The API will allow you to interact with your Lead Forensics data within any platform of your choice. Connecting to the Lead Forensics API could be used to help enhance the data you have in your systems, or even to automate many everyday tasks that you perform within your Lead Forensics portal.

The Lead Forensics API is a REST API. JSON will be returned in all responses from the API, including errors.

The Lead Forensics API can be used to retrieve data about the companies visiting your website (see businesses, reference data, and visits). You can also call the information about your website performance, which is displayed in your Lead Forensics reports inside your portal (see KPI).

How can I use the API?

You can use the API to connect almost any system to Lead Forensics. Provided your CRM, website or business systems allow you to input information from an API, your Lead Forensics data can be made available across all your systems.

Here are some ways you might want to leverage our API;

• To streamline your Sales teams’ workflow and enrich your CRM with your Lead Forensics website visit data.
• To connect valuable and complementary data into your marketing campaigns.
• To enrich your reporting with your own bespoke reporting suites

How do I get access?

To enable access to the API you will need to request an API Key. Please raise the request by emailing our Support Team or by raising a ticket from the ‘Support’ tab inside your Portal. Once your account is API enabled you will be sent an API key which will provide you access to your data.

Acceptable Use Policy

In using this API you are agreeing to the Acceptable Use Policy for the API service and the terms of your Lead Forensics contract. Please review the policy here before commencing use of the API.
